The Lady Bradford table lighter was introduced in year 1949, with a retail value of $10USD, which is equivalent to $106.39USD today.
It was initially manufactured without a base. A base was then added at the end of the year due to feedbacks of customers, of the table lighter falling over easily. This was done by drilling a hole at the base of the lighter, and securing a new base to it.
